'Dhi' means mind, design, imagination, reflection and also indicates the activity of the intellect. The installation is inspired by a designer's mind and reflects the tangled mess of abstract concepts that create harmonious movement.
Designing the structure
As the art director for the installation, I approached my peers and asked them to design and animate an abstract form based on the brief I provided them. The brief provided restrictions in terms of color palette, and the ratio depending on each cube the animator chose. Attached below is my iteration based on the brief before my teammates and I mapped it out.
